Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a crucial competency that needs to be instilled from school age to prepare young people to face the challenges of the working world and create independent business opportunities.
This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve the understanding of entrepreneurship and simple bookkeeping concepts among students at SMA Negeri 1 Atambua. The methods used included lectures, discussions, Q&A sessions, and practical exercises in preparing simple bookkeeping. The activity took place on September 8, 2023, involving students from SMA Negeri 1 Atambua. The results showed that participants gained a better understanding of the characteristics of entrepreneurs, the importance of innovation, and basic techniques for recording simple business transactions. Participants' enthusiasm was evident in their active involvement in the discussions and Q&A sessions. This activity is expected to foster an interest in entrepreneurship from an early age and improve participants' financial literacy skills.
