Abstract

The digital transformation of the banking sector has accelerated the adoption of mobile banking services as a faster, more convenient, secure, and efficient transaction medium. However, many people still lack adequate digital banking literacy, limiting their ability to utilize these services effectively. This condition was also identified among customers of Bank NTT Main Branch Kupang, many of whom experienced difficulties in understanding application features, activating accounts, conducting digital transactions, and maintaining transaction security when using the Be Pung Mobile application. This Community Service Program aimed to enhance customers' digital banking literacy through educational activities, interactive socialization, live demonstrations, hands-on practice, and direct assistance in using the Be Pung Mobile application. The program adopted a participatory and educational approach consisting of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage included needs assessment and instructional material development. The implementation stage involved lectures, application demonstrations, practical digital transaction exercises, and interactive discussions. The evaluation stage employed pre-tests, post-tests, direct observation, and participant satisfaction questionnaires to assess program effectiveness. The results demonstrated significant improvements in participants' knowledge, practical skills, and confidence in operating the Be Pung Mobile application, including account registration, activation, fund transfers, bill payments, QRIS transactions, and the application of secure digital banking practices. Furthermore, participants developed greater awareness of protecting personal information and preventing various forms of digital fraud. Therefore, practice-based digital literacy education proved effective in promoting the adoption of digital banking services, strengthening financial inclusion, and supporting the sustainable digital transformation of Bank NTT in Kupang City.
